Errors with ImandrA add-ins in Office 2003 and earlier versions

If you try to run ImandrA add-ins in Microsoft Office 2003 or earlier applications, the add-ins will not initialize correctly and generate errors similar to the following:

Run-time error: '-2147024894' (80070002)'

Or

File or assembly name…, or one of its dependencies, was not found.

Note    This issue does not occur in Microsoft Office Word 2007 or in Microsoft Office Excel 2007.

The .NET Framework 2.0 includes a lockback policy. This policy prevents the .NET Framework 2.0 common language runtime (CLR) from initializing when the .NET Framework 2.0 is hosted by an Office application. The policy restriction limits Office applications from loading versions of the .NET Framework that are later than version 1.1. The ImandrA add-ins cannot be loaded because they require .NET Framework 2.0.

To resolve this problem, an update for Office 2003 can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site at:
